For some reason, I enjoyed the first five minutes more than the last five minutes of this vid. :_toastbeer:

46 heck that’s close! I thought I saw somewhere that there was 75 vendor spaces. Maybe several of these have 2 spaces.

They’ve got some family matters they have to take care of. I spoke to Tom a few days ago, it was kind of last minute. We’re definitely gonna miss ’em at the show.

I’m assuming all the ones on Buddah’s list to get free passes, which would include just about of us here, on The Hot Zone, Hot Sauce Daily, etc.

Buddah’s just trying to copy me again. Of course, mine doesn’t have any fancy website address or anything. 😛 😉

Mine is an original Paul Revere spoon that I bought off Chumley at Pawn Stars. I just sanded off the REVERE and scratched on FIREHEAD THOMAS…it’s sweet.

Sure, mine may have lost its luster over many a year of hard-fought culinary battles and courageous gallantry, but it can still kill a full-sized Grizzly with two carefully executed moves.

sweet informative video! nicole and i are super excited to come out there and see you all again, and meet some new people as well. We’ll be featuring all of the main HBD items, including the new improved SUPER SIZED dry rubs. And yes we did reserve #10 of the “albo’gator” for the brownie brawl buster champion!!
Thomas, you should trade in your spoon for ladle with a bunch of bling on it!

Cool. Yeah, we’re heading out about 8pm Thursday night. With a straight drive, we should roll in about 8am Friday. After we setup the booth (and tap into the greater Cincinnati power grid), it should be about 12-1pm. By that time, I’ll be singin’ “It’s 5 o’clock somehwere”.

Actually I have a funny story. Last year we rented a big Dodge Ram pickup for the journey. I looked at the Weather Channel before we left, and it showed a teeny little cloud line heading east. There was no cap on the truck, but since it didn’t look like much rain, we just duct taped the show tubs to make them water resistant. We hit WV about 3:30am, and the sky opened up. We pulled into a closed gas station and proceeded to unpack the entire truck, and wrap it in the tarp for the tent. Not something I really planned on doing, nor was I in the mood for. As we repacked, I looked over at the gas station and saw something. Inside the closed gas station was a sign, a sign that would make any man feel as if he had reached Nirvana. I pointed and grunted at Maggie, she hadn’t a clue what I was staring at. Inside the CLOSED station was an area with a large neon sign, broadcasting to the masses, it said “THE BEER CAVE”. Maggie had to physically put me back in the truck, and we continued to Jungle Jims. To this day, that sign is still burned into my psyche.
