2010 WoF Defcon Championship Deathmatch

This year the Deathmatch of Deathmatches was kind of anti-climatic, but it doesn’t always have to be filled with drama to be fun to watch. I got to do some camera work for this event and was happy to do so.
I also will have pre and post interviews with some of the contestants and get inside their heads on why they do what they do. Those videos segments will come sometime during the week, and I think you will enjoy it quite a bit. Plus we interviewed the champion after the match, and he surprised me with his training regime weeks leading up to the event. Yes…he trained for the Deathmatch!

Here is the Defcon Deathmatch in all it’s glory:

Scott Roberts’s version is awesome and he has a different angle:

Cool video. But it looks like the winner is still chewing at almost 2 minutes in. He may have gotten the wings on his mouth at :58 seconds, but it looks like he took another minute to get them all down. Or maybe i’m crazy. :_retarded:

OK competition doesnt start until about 19secs in, so it is better than the two minutes I thought, but seems longer than 58 secs.

Huv, the wings were clean, Maggie had her eye on him to make sure he swallowed the chicken meat. He swallowed it way before the next hand went up. Let’s not get too technical. It was 58 seconds.

Thomas, you were a trooper just to take a seat, man.

All I know is the guy had his hands up before I finished my 4th wing. They were soooo hot this year I didn’t even attempt to eat another one after that. I still paid for it during the night and early Sunday morning. My stomach was bothering me and I was just about to pass on doing the bhut brownie contest. Glad I didn’t now!
