REVIEW- Rippin’ Red Wing Sauce

There has been a lot of talk about this wing sauce coming from some of the other chile blogs. Our review team will give you their expert chile lover’s opinion and you can decide for yourself whether this wing sauce should the next one to bring home to taste. They will review both the original and hot versions. We have Firehead Thomas, Mer and newcomer Mike from Madness as he does a little something different with his wing sauce that you might not expect. I got to love creative chefs that think outside the box. It is inspiring.

I also noticed that Steve from www.2hot2eat.com did a review on his YouTube page for this product, so if you would like to hear his opinion as well, you can check that out too: CLICK ME

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I appriciate your honesty. The whole purpose it to get peoples opinions of the sauce so we can make it better. Three very different opinions in these reviews. Either way I hope it grabs people attention and makes them want to give us a try.

:_thumbsup: This was an awesome review! I loved how in the third video he showed the sauce being poured. That was really helpful to show me how thick the sauce was. Thanks!

No, I don’t think I’m THE Jen, just A Jen. I’m new to the whole hot sauce thing. I just got sick of all the super-thin hot sauces at the supermarket. I’ve been reading all the hot sauce blogs. The videos showing the sauce being poured are very helpful, they help me find the thicker sauces.

What a coincidence, we happen to be looking for a replacement Jen and you’ll do nicely. Tell us about yourself. How did you get into hot sauce and what’s your favorite sauce right now? Inquiring minds want to know!

My two favorites so far are Cajohn’s Jolokia Wing 10 sauce and Danny Cash’s Fallen Angel Jolokia wing sauce. They are the only really thick sauces I have found yet. I’m thinking of ordering Wing-Time Super Hot, but I can’t find a video of it to see if it’s thick or not. I just tried Blair’s Death Wing Sauce tonight and it nearly killed me. I have a burn all over my hand where I touched it. That’s the craziest, hottest sauce I’ve ever tasted, and it doesn’t even have extract in it, I don’t think. You guys would probably love it.

Jen, it is obvious you love wing sauce. I am not a fan of the Wing Time flavor, but you might enjoy it. You should try Ring of Fire XX Habanero or any of the line, they are great sauces and a lot of favorites in the industry. It is a chunky sauce, although a little watery, but I think you will really love it. If you want a great wing sauce, then Defcon is the tops in my book. Wy’s Wings has some excellent flavors too.

Hey Buddah, I actually ordered Ring of Fire last week based on all the reviews. It should be here any day now. Yeah, it looked super thick and chunky in the photos, that’s why I got it. And I finally broke down and ordered Defcon 2 last night. I was going to get Defcon 1, but I’ve never tried extract. Wy’s wing sauce looked not so thick in his youtube video when he was pouring it, so I didn’t get that one yet. I’m undecided on the Wing-Time Super Hot, I wish there was a video of it. Oh, have you tried Sean’s Booyah Real Hot? I ordered that last night based on all the youtube raves. I haven’t read anything about it on the hot sauce blogs.

    No extract in Defcon 1

I could have sworned that the reviews said Defcon 1 had extract in it, and that’s what makes it hotter than 2?

Defcon 1 most defiantly has extract in it. 🙄

You did good with the 2 it’s the all around favorite.

Which Ring of Fire did you get? The garden and habanero’s are excellent as is their steak sauce.

I got the Ring of Fire habanero sauce today and it was too hot/bitter to me. I feel bad saying that. I thought I liked chunky sauces with the bits of seeds and peppers, but I guess this was just too much chunk for me. Funny that this tastes hotter to me than my beloved Cajohn and Danny Cash Jolokia wing sauces! I fear that nothing will top those two. 😥
