Firehead Thomas Reviews HBD’s North Star Grilling Sauce
Heartbreaking Dawns (HBD) is a fairly new up and coming fiery products company that has made a huge impact over the last year winning awards and accolades along the way. Firehead Thomas got a chance to review one of their two new grilling sauces. Parker will take on the second one in an upcoming review. Plus, Thomas also has a bonus feature involving the HBD Limited Edition Albo’Gator collectible. Let us find out if it is a hit or miss with Thomas.

Oh yeah!! Thanks TG for a fine review…It’s always appreciated, My first favorite dish with the North Star (as far as using the official post-production batch) was actually with the Dr. Bird. I let a nice pork shoulder sit for 12 hours generously rubbed in the Dr. Bird, I then put it into ‘ye old dutch oven, with a good amount of North Star, a little water and cider vinegar (to get the vapors going) a couple potatoes, some onion, a clove of garlic and 2 whole chocolate habs. I let that baby BRAISE THE ROOF for 3.5-4 hours…..I was pleased!!! Anyway if anyone is interested in this or any other HBD items we are having a “Nicole’s Birthday” special… it’s supposed to be for 24 hours on the 6th but for the ILoveItSpicy crowd it is active now through Sunday… enter the Discount Code “nicole” and get 24% off your order (excluding albo’gator), it’s 24% because she will be 24, genius huh! Thanks again TG!
That is a great review.
Steve Smith is gonna help me fix my camera issues…:)
Welcome aboard Hot Sauce, glad to have you.
Thanks Johnny for your generosity. I was not aware it was Nicole’s Birthday too. I just thought it was celebrating for the commitment you just made to her. Congrats to the both of you. :_bananadancing: :_redpepper:  :_redpepper: :_bananadancing:
Loved the chicken thigh rant.
Thanks Buddha, Her Birthday is the 6th, shortly on the heels of the engagement, but don’t worry I made sure to get her a Birthday gift as a seperate entity! we’re just full of events over this way!!!
:_redpepper: Good stuff! :hungry:
I love grilling sauces. I’ve only tried the ones from the grocery store. I only found one with habaneros in it, it’s called Taste of Inspirations St. Bart’s Creole Simmer Sauce. Anyway, these Heart Breaking Dawn Grilling sauces look made for me, in huge bottles and diluted by other stuff, kinda like wing sauces, so they don’t burn so bad.
