REVIEW: Baron’s International Kitchen’s Caribbean Marinade

We have 2 Caribbean style products from Baron’s International Kitchen. The other one is a hot sauce, and this is a Hot Jerk Sauce. We have 3 reviewers to tackle this Antiguan style jerk style marinade. First up is Wendy the Spice Goddess, then Wayne Brawley and end it with myself.

These guys are right up by us, their Portuguese relish is really killer. Great people, I hope they get out to some of the fiery foods events but we’ve done about 3 or 4 local ones with them this year.

    Hey Firehead Thomas,

Yeah, my Hot and Mild Caribbean Jerk Sauces do have a little high fructose corn syrup in them. It’s actually an ingredient in the Teriyaki Sauce I am currently using so there isn’t that much in the Jerk Sauces but there is a little bit in there.

I’m planning to substitute that brand of Teriyaki Sauce with another brand that doesn’t contain the high fructose corn syrup.

    Hey Johnny,

Thanks! Yeah, the sweet tang of my Portuguese Repolho Relish has got alot of “addicts” now 🙂 It’s been hard work keeping that in stock.

Well, I just got my feet wet with shows last year and I had a great time. Everyone I’ve meet so far as been so friendly and supportive and I’ve really enjoyed just meeting all the folks out there.

I’ll probably add a few more local events to my list and maybe 1 or 2 fiery food events. I’ll keep you posted.
