Feast Your Eyes on This Spicy Cooking Challenge: Johnny & Clement Interviews

I had an opportunity this weekend to sit with both finalists in the cooking challenge. It was not planned nor would I ever have thought the opportunity would have been granted to me if it wasn’t for the Gunther’s Gourmet Gala in Richmond, VA, where we all met up. I will have a lot to share on that event in the days ahead. In any case, I am very grateful of the fortune and timing to get these two guys together for a sit down with me right before the final challenge. I try to get their perspective on everything from their cooking, the toughness of the challenges, the best and worst meals and what they think of their opponent. I hope you like it.

    Great interviews, Buddah.

The last video had me rolling. 😆

I am really excited to see what both of these guys come up with. They both deserve it and somehow I felt that it would come down to these two. Like I have said before, I am glad I am not a judge.

    :winner: Good luck, guys!!! :winner:

Buddah! What are you doing airing that now!?! Giving away my strategy…now I’m gonna have to throw a curve ball.

How come you didn’t ask Johnny his strategy? lol

You gave nothing away. Johnny will have enough trouble cooking with ingredients that are made in the USA.

Clement shouldn’t you be cooking, or better yet twisting that voodoo doll! I just got back from getting ALL of my ingredients at Emmanuelle’s Grocery in Stone Ridge NY. American AND Local…How do you marinade chicken in the US, someone suggested i put it in front of the TV for Dancing with The Stars….Buddah i’m making you a special beef that’s been listening to Howard Stern for 12 hours, it’s gonna be sweet!

Sorry Clement Voodoo Doll will not work. Johnny has so many needle holes from all the tattoos it will not faze him. You should have taken a lock of his hair, blood sample or urine sample to make a potion or something. Make a doll of his dog so it will go crazy in the kitchen while Johnny is cooking!

Nah…I’ll just twist him in a manner where he needs to cook with one arm tied behind his back while hopping on one leg! Should be entertaining…

Johnny, NY is part of America? I thought Bloomberg filed for secession…wanting to take all your rights away!

What kind of CRAZY beef are you making? I guess it depends on which Stern show you had playing…

Clement, you better get back to working on you video, remember you’re on a time constraint! And no need to tie on arm behind my back, it’s all ready in use eating this delicious food….its so tasty up in here I gotta cook with my left and eat with my right….the hopping part just comes along with the sweet smell of victory!

New Yorker versus Cajun! What a challenge. Johnny mentioned it’s in Clements bloodline because he’s Cajun. You hit the nail on the head Johnny them Southern boys do have it in their blood. You would too if your ancestors married their own relatives! :_bananadancing:
