UCCFS: Steak vs Hash Brown Scramble Round 1
This is our first 4 seed vs 13 seed Ultimate Chilehead Comfort Food Showdown. Everyone knows steak. You can marinate it, grill it, over wood fire, in the oven, or whatever your poison might be. Steak is pure Americana, but what the heck is Hash Brown Scramble? It is a mixture of hash brown style potatoes with eggs, bacon, sausage, onions, peppers, sour cream, cheese, vegetables, and/or whatever you basically like to have for breakfast. You can even have steak in it. Can you have Hash Brown Scramble in steak? No you can’t. Even with what would seem like a major advantage, I think steak is the clear favorite here. You never know because breakfast is quite comforting and we all love hash browns, so lets just wait and see how the voting goes, right? Yeah right.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
I make a pretty good hash brown scramble but I’d still rather have a good steak!
I have never been a steak eater, so it is a really tough call. I think if I pit my best steak against my best scramble, then I can decide. :_retarded:
I make steak and scramble
this one was tough. Still had to go with the steak, but I love a good scramble.
I’ve never even HEARD of the term “hash brown scramble” before now. Yet the basic concept is one of my favorite foods. Any variation of home fries/hash browns is my ultimate breakfast food IMO. I even have a version that uses leftover fried chicken; http://www.scottrobertsweb.com/Recipe-Scottys-Monster-Breakfast-Mash
But steak is steak. No contest. 😛
