Thanks again for another review. We appreciate your thoughtfulness and time and effort. Sorry we couldn’t convince Ken on Triple P! As a side note, we’ve found the sauce to be delicious on a hot dog with sweet pickle relish — one of those happy accidents, if you will — as well as wonderful with ham.
Thanks again. You guys are great!

Sweet/fruity sauces will get a lot mixed reviews in this crowd. If it’s sweet with a nice heat, it usually does well, but sweet/fruity and flat will really vary…did anyone try it over ice cream or pound cake??
We consider it fruity but not syrupy, if that makes sense. We have tried it on ice cream and cake and didn’t think it worked well (for our tastes at least), but we did make a decent rum drink with it:

Hey G, I need to have a word with your shrimp supplier.
I tried it with all kinds of things. not on ice cream or cake, but I did make a salad dressing out of it. I liked the purry purry as a salad dressing so thought that might work, but didn’t. I really wanted to like it. It just wasn’t my thing. But that’s why I tell everyone that palates are different and what doesn’t work for me may work for someone else. As the reviews unfold, you’ll see there were a couple that I thought were outstanding, and all were good but this one to me.
