Last year I bumped into Fiber Joe as he and his family were leaving the Fiery Food Show in ALbuddahquerque at the Sandia Resort & Casino. What I noticed was the amount of goodies he was taking with him and the flame shirt of course. Once I met him I knew I had found myself a new member of my review team. Before I even left to go home I was getting emails from Joe with video links to him in the kitchen slow cooking using some of the things he just bought at the show. I knew this was a good thing. Just so you know, Joe works with fiber-optics, and not fibrous foods.
Fast forward 1 year and I got to spend a little quality time with Joe and his co-worker Greg and discuss some special things he wanted to do at the show and in future segments during the year. Joe & Greg work much of the time on the road in different cities and come across many great places along the way. They thought it would be ideal to do some reviews on the road, as well as review some places along the way. That works for me. At the event, Joe wanted to show a little of what he could do by picking out a few of the vendors he liked and doing a little booth interview to get you a feel of what are a few of the good companies at the show this year. As you will see he did a great job.
I included some links to each of the companies Joe interviewed just in case you see something you like and want to support with a purchase. Thanks Joe for the great effort.
We are going to start with a company we will be posting their first of 2 reviews for this upcoming week. So keep an eye out for that in the next few days.
One of my new personal favorite companies at the show, Addiction Sauces. I expect to hear big things from them and chef and co-owner, Bo Perkins in the near future.
