Feast Your Eyes on This Spicy Cooking Challenge 2012- Round 2 Contestant Videos

You will notice there are only 7 videos. This is because I was contacted by Maria yesterday, and she had to pull herself out of the cooking challenge. She had hurt her foot prior to the competition, and like a trouper she thought she could fight through the discomfort and cook for you all. Unfortunately, she had her 2nd surgery on Friday, and the post-surgery pain was a little more than she could handle. We hate to see anyone drop out, but life happens. We all wish Maria well and for her to have a speedy recovery.

So with that bad news out of the way, the good news will be the judges will not be voting anyone out this week. All the other contestants are moving onto the 3rd round. We still have an obligation to announce the winner of Round 2, our Potato and Green Thingy Challenge. We have to reward them with their secret bonus prize and the $50 cash card from our sponsor Race City Sauce Works. I also have a small reward for the contestant that has the best score from the Spicy Condiment judging and the 1st and 2nd rounds combined.

Speaking of sponsors, thanks again to Chad Lowcock of Race City Sauce Works who not only is sponsoring a 2nd place prize for $100, but also a $50 cash card to the winner of this round. Please check out his new website design and layout and see all of the great sauces including the very popular 13th Moon Chocolate Drink/Sauce. If you enter Coupon Code: FEAST25 at checkout, you will get 25% off of your order. Click onto Pandora above to check it all out.

Nice job, everyone!! Some outstanding recipes!!!And the videos are much better. Just keep trying to get a little more light so your food shows up in the best “light” (yes, pun intended!)!!

Jeff got my vote because of the bread and pancakes. Wow! I definatly will make the bread.
I think a separate category for best shirt should go to Steve. Good catch by Rob for not plastering the walls with the mixer. All the entries were great.
