Feast Your Eyes on This Spicy Cooking Challenge 2012- Final Round 7 Contestant Videos

Here we are finally down to the last 2 spicy cooking challenge contestants. Shauna Jellsey from TATS Sauces & Marinades and Chris Bintz of Wicked Cactus Sauces have brought some very creative and delicious looking dishes. Chris has taking home 3 winning dishes in rounds 2, 3 and the last round 6. Shauna has not won a round, but she has received much praise from our panel of judges and has improved every round of this contest. The past rounds will not have any say in what happens in this last round, and winning now would be the most important win of them all of course.

Our last challenge is to create a spicy 4 course meal using Bacon, Pasta and Seafood in some way in any or all the dishes:
1- Cold Soup or Salad
2- Appetizer
3- Main Course (side dishes and garnish is optional)
4- Dessert

They are fighting for our top prize of a free vendor’s booth at the Houston Hot Sauce Show and the NOLA Hot Sauce & Gourmet Show, plus a huge trophy from ILoveItSpicy.com. The runner up will get $200 for their efforts. Our main sponsors have been very generous and I would like to thank them once again for making our prizes surpass the $1500 mark this year. Award Winning Sauce companies Race City Sauces Works & Texas Creek Products, as well as EatMoreHeat.com for their contributions to the 2nd and 3rd place prize pool. Also, Endorphin Farms for helping us kick off the cooking contest with the Tropical Condiment Challenge. Also a HUGE thanks to Firehead Thomas & the lovely Firebelle Annabelle for their $50 2nd place prize contribution out of the kindness of their hearts.

Just so you know. The reason you presently can not see Chris’ video is because a song he used at the end of his video is not allowed to be used on YouTube because of a license agreement. Not much I can do but wait for a new video copy to be sent to me from Chris. Right now I am awaiting a call back to alert him of the problem. Sorry folks, but it wasn’t the only problem from this round. Shauna’s video was submitted 8 hours late, and arrived just in time for this posting.

They are broken and I do not know how to fix them. So they are permanently gone at this point.

You know a real good way of fixing this in the future? Don’t allow copyrighted music in the videos from now on.

I gave everyone a warning ahead of time, but everybody wants what they want until is goes bad.

The music industry allows use of their property for venues like this, the problem is YouTube taking it to extremes.
