REVIEW: Veri Peri Hot Sauce

There is another company out there called Very Peri, so please note that if you think you have had this product take a look at the labels for these products. Not too many product labels in this industry are so cleanly defined as the sauces from Veri Peri. I love the color separation between each bottle. Take a quick look at their five sauces HERE. Such simpleness to these labels makes you know exactly what you are getting. Other companies should take note and compare their overly busy or “cool” design to these. Sometimes simple is just a better way to connect to your customers and standout on a store shelf. I love the labels’ subtle pepper differences between their mild, hot and veri hot versions.

I have been to the infamous Nando’s Restaurant in DC and I love the chicken-oriented cuisine which highlights the peri-peri peppery sauces very or should I say veri similar flavors. Nothing too spicy for the average chilehead, but enough to feel a comfortable heat. Drawing upon that comparison I started my review. As you will see in my video, something happened to me that has never happened before in a hot sauce review, hence the length of the video. Along with me, there is also Heynetboy and the Schobergs.

Background:

Veri Peri has an extraordinary ability to deliver and exhilarating heat experience without being overwhelming. Being that we have five flavors with varying levels of heat we offer something for everyone. Unlike other hot sauces touting physical pain, Veri Peri is smooth and leaves you wanting more . Veri Peri is the number one sauce brand in South Africa and a staple in the homes of its people. Bringing Veri Peri to our tables here in the United States has been a collective effort. Made with the incomparable African Bird’s Eye Chili, Veri Peri, is in a class all its own. Veri Peri is an emulsion and can does not separate when used in cooking. This means that, unlike other hot sauces, Veri Peri can be used as a marinade, an ingredient in your favorite recipe, or simply as a condiment that guests can add as they please to burgers, chops, dips, or even soup. Veri Peri is manufactured by the South African company, All Joy. For over twenty years All Joy has built a reputation of quality ingredients and a fair price. All Joy’s motto is “Value makes friends and Quality keeps them”. It is our intention to bring that friendship to each and every American.
