REVIEW: Mystic Rhoads Productions’ Lava Ground Spicy Bean Dip

First thing first, I would like to congrat Adam & Johanna Rhoads for the birth of their newest family member Emory Grace this past Father’s Day, June 17th, also my Brother’s Birthday. What makes the birth even more special is that they were married 1 year ago on the 18th. What a way to celebrate, eh? Looking at the reviews, I would say this is like a present as well. Who knew you can make a successful spicy bean dip using yellow yams?

I first took notice of Mystic Rhoads Products or MRP for short when I saw a couple of their products reviewed over at www.PeppersandMore.com. One of them was this spicy bean dip. I remembered it back then, as I especially remembered the yellow yams in their products. I met Mer through them, and was very happy to add him to our team of reviewers. So when Mer suggested to Adam that we do a review, I was more than happy to put the spotlight on their company again. To keep the cost of the review down a tad, we used 2 sets of reviewers instead of our usual 3 individual reviewers. As a result we now have a total of 4 reviewers for the mailing price of 2. It also marks the debut of Mike & Jen from chiligrower.com and our now veteran review couple, the Schobergs.

Along the way in understanding what some of the words mean in relation to MRP you might come across baldorf and/or their Dirt Nap Series (DNS). In the getting to know about the company segment we usually do with the first review of a new company on ILIS, I have included some explanations about baldorf and DNS. You will find out real fast this is not your average spicy products company. Read on about their company by going to their website to find a little more about their charity work all over the world. Once you check out what our reviewers have to say about this spicy bean dip, you might be encouraged to lend a helping hand and purchasing you some.

baldorf: A surprisingly cerebral game, if you put some leg into it, that was invented in Jamaica by The Commissioner, Mer(v) and other MRP supporters to allow players of any age, race or gender to challenge themselves in a positive competition unlike any other.

Dirt Nap Dip (DND): MRP always encourages you to follow your gut when creating deliciousness. Should you need a muse, there are easy to follow, and mind numbingly delectable, recipes on our website under Dirt Nap Dip Series.
