Happy 4th of Jolokia

Chile Independence is here bhut one time a year, and we break out the fiery works and spicy BBQ in celebration of said holiday. Let me remind you that freedom is not a birthright to all who breath air. We are the fortunate people who get a choice in life. We get to shape and pick our destinies. We are quite lucky and we should never forget what our fore fathers did for us. They battled for their children, their children’s children and all the generations to come. While I make light of the holiday’s name, I do not mock the foundation built for our freedom today. So when you hoist your choice of beverage today, whether it be alcoholic or otherwise, whether it be silently or out loud please give thanks for what you have. Thank those that gave their lives against uncertain odds just for a taste of freedom.
