TELL ME SOMETHING I DIDN’T KNOW Part 6
We are bringing back one of the great hot sauces ever to be conjured up in this community. Brian Moon, once a well loved member of this computer fell out of sight and in doing so perhaps fell out of mind. In a recent shopping spree at Peppers, I came across a old bottle of Loco Luna’s Lava Gourmet Hot Sauce and couldn’t help wonder two things. Firstly, how old was it, and secondly was still good? The answer is yes, emphatically YES! The saw draws from both a tomatoey and vinegary combo with gentle spices that linger on your tongue to remind you that you want another hit. It is a hot sauce that would go on so many dishes, and the bottles do not last long, so make your food choices wisely. I might have one of the last sauces on the planet, I do not know if Brian Moon, the man behind Loco Luna Gourmet Foods will ever bring this legend LAVA sauce line back. If not I hope he sells the recipes to someone that would treat them as if they were their own family member. I have Brian on my Facebook friends list, so I will post this on his page and see where his mind is at, and maybe I/we will receive an affirmation to my plea in the positive. Brian, do tell us you are bringing your babies back to our spicy loving community. Grace us once again with your creative fiery talent, and unleash your wonderful concoctions to a whole new fiery loving fan base so ready to embrace your sauces.
For those of you that do not know, TELL ME SOMETHING I DIDN’T KNOW is about telling you, my spicy loving audience about products that I love and you might not be aware of. Perhaps in this case, LAVA hot sauces by Loco Luna Gourmet Foods is the sauce you need to have in your fridge/cupboard. I tell you it is, and even if you have to dust it off from an old shelf, it is still as good as it was when it was created. If my word isn’t solid enough read the review by eman of the beloved HotSauceBlog back from April 2006 HERE. Rating 9.5/10.
There isn’t much I can provide that will be able to get you his sauce, but if you have had it in the past and want to sing his praises, then come forward and say it here. Who knows, maybe just maybe, Mr Moon will do a retro return with his LAVA legendary line and the chile world will be a happier place. Brian, go with the flow!

I was hoping that you’d say that you had been in touch with Brian and he was bringing his sauces back!! We’ve used all but the last 4 bottles of our LAVA (1 of each heat level.) I would use our last 4 if we could get some more!!!
My favorite of all times hands down, no close seconds!!!
