REVIEW: Palmetto Pepper Potions – Larynx Lava & Molten Golden
I am combining the last 2 reviews with Palmetto Pepper Potions as they are both solo reviews. I have never been a fan of solo reviews for one reason, and that is if the reviewer doesn’t like the product then there is no other voice we can turn to other than the maker who is trying to defend their product. I trust my reviewers, I just like the support system the multiple review has built in. With that said, the last 2 reviews we did for Palmetto Pepper Potions had 2 reviewers attached to them. In the first review we had Dale Gilbert and Derrick Wood reviewing the Daily Red. Then in review #2 we turned to Jacob Robertson and Dale Gilbert for their Trenholm Venom. For these reviews we have Derrick Wood reviewing the Larynx Lava and Jacob Robertson with their Molten Golden.
I would like to thank Reid Edgar of SnazzyGourmet.com for putting these reviews together with us. Please check out all the gourmet deliciousness and support his website with a worthy purchase. Much success to you Reid.
Here are 2 interesting recipes, 1 for each sauce I found on the Palmetto Pepper Potions website:
Slap, Slather & Sizzle Breakfast Bagel (Larynx Lava)
You can make this healthy and satisfying breakfast in 3 minutes or less,
so be sure to keep a bottle of Larynx Lava on hand.
Whole wheat bagel
Sliced Muenster cheese or cheese of your choice
Sliced smoked turkey breast or lean ham or cooked Canadian bacon
Liberal amount of Larynx Lava
While toasting your bagel, grab the other ingredients from your fridge. As soon as the bagel pops up, plate it and top one half with a slice of cheese and a slice of turkey, ham or Canadian bacon. Slather on the Larynx Lava, slap the top on and you’re there.
Note: We sometimes add fresh spinach, romaine or sliced tomato to get a vegetable serving in at breakfast. Also try Larynx Lava on a bagel with cream cheese.
Molten Golden Carolina Risotto
2 TB extra virgin olive oil
1 cup Carolina Plantation aromatic rice or arborio rice
1 sweet onion, chopped
2 cups chicken broth or vegetable broth
4 ozs. gourmet mushrooms of your choice (cremini, shiitake, oyster)
1-1/2 cups dry white wine
¼ cup Palmetto Pepper Potions Molten Golden hot sauce

Mix olive oil and rice together in a large microwave-safe casserole dish with a glass cover. Stir well until rice is well-coated. Cover and microwave on high for one minute. Add chicken or vegetable broth and chopped onion. Stir, cover and microwave for five minutes. Add mushrooms, stir, cover and microwave for five minutes. Add 1 cup of the white wine, stir,m cover and microwave for 8 minutes. Add Molten Golden, parmesan cheese and remaining ½ cup of wine. Microwave, covered, for an additional two minutes. Stir in fresh thyme leaves just before serving.
