We have a BBQ sauce maker trying to get his love of BBQ and mix it with his New Orleans background and bring it to California where he believes there is a calling for a really good BBQ sauce with a little kick. Introducing Michael Knox to our spicy community and to all BBQ lovers out there. Michael wanted us to give him some feedback ILIS style and we aim to please. A little about the man behind the sauce…
Born in sunny California with a love for food and the outdoors, it was fate that Michael Knox would fall in love with the grill. Unsatisfied with his local BBQ selection and disappointed with the selection of sauces at the store, he made it his mission to improve California’s BBQ. Attending school at Le Cordon Bleu helped the young entrepreneur better understand the different ingredients of the world and gave him the boost of creativity to complete his first project. Combining the California flavors he is so used to and his New Orleans roots, he has created a sauce with great savory and explosive flavor, a sauce for spicy and sweet lovers alike. Made the way BBQ sauce should be, Knox’s Gourmet Sauce has no artificial flavors, preservatives or fillers. It’ll surely to add flavor to anything you put it on. Not a stranger to the kitchen, he watched his Grandmother cook her classic New Orleans dishes for many years, studying the ingredients and all that she did.
