Our blend of local inspired ingredients pleases the senses of everyone and every food it touches. It offers a perfect balance of sweet and spice that enhances the flavor of all foods.
Our inspired hot sauce has history. Its origins are traced back to the West-Indian countries of Jamaica, Trinidad, and Barbados. The earliest immigrants from these countries arrived in Bocas del Toro in the late 1800s to work on the Banana farms of the United Fruit Company. Over the next 60 years thousands more moved to Bocas del Toro quickly turning this island archipelago into a hotbed of inspirational flavors. The most notable and popular amongst them is the ever-present Hot Sauce. Enjoy!
We contribute $1 per bottle of Bocas Hot Sauce purchased to our scholarship fund that provides continued education opportunities to indigenous students in the Bocas del Toro, Panama area. Only 18% of indigenous children ages 15-19 receive an education beyond sixth grade compared to the national average of 65%.
