Crabi Gras’ Crab Cake & Key West Key Lime Pie Heatwave Fest
Set for August 24th, Crabi Gras sponsors this special event in the heart of downtown Cambridge, MD. Local business, Crabi Gras @ 432 Race Street, is organizing the event. Owner Keith Graffius has announced that local bands The Steel Ticklers, 3 Penny Opera, and Kentavius Jones Band will be the featured artists.
Celebrate Eastern Shore culinary delights with Fresh Crab Cakes made with Dorchester County Crab Meat from Lindy’s Seafood in Woolford, MD! Wash it down with a smooth piece of Key Lime Pie, from Kermits Key Lime Pie Company in Key West, Florida!
Dubbed the “Hottest Festival on the Shore”, The Crab Cake and Key West Key Lime Pie Heatwave Fest on August 24 is set for kick-off at 1-ish in the afternoon, and the party will roll till 8-ish in the evening at Cannery Way park in the 400 block of Race Street.
The event features music, food, libations, and a bottomless supply of the title attractions—Crab Cakes and Key Lime Pie. Hamburgers, hot dogs, oysters, french fries, and other tasty delights will also be on the menu. As well as wine, beer, the famous bloody mary bar and other libations!
The Festival is a ticketed event. Admission of $5 at the door helps support the work of a local nonprofit group, Cambridge Main Street. Many shops throughout the downtown area, will be featuring late shopping hours and free meet-the-artist receptions in galleries.
