I am a little dizzy after watching your great showcase of the show. I want to say ‘Thanks’! I wish I could of been there. It looks like a lot of fun.

Do you know if there is going to be a Zest Fest this year and will you attend?

Sorry about the dizzying effect. This is a learning experience, and I will try to do better next time. Yes there will be a Zestfest this year. I spoke to June who organizes the event at the FFS and she confirmed as much. They do not advertise the show well, and it takes a while until they get their website up and running. I went last year and do not plan on going this year. I do plan on going to the New Orleans show, which will be in its first year on the last weekend of June. The Weekend of Fire show is a must go to for me on the first weekend of August. Then I hope to attend the Houston Hot Sauce Show which is the weekend after Zestfest.

We went to the Zestfest a couple of years back. We would like to go again, It was a good excuse to go see Texas. They advertise in the Chile Pepper Magazine but have not seen it. It kinda of sucks because we need to plan ahead with all the barbeque, chili, dutch oven events that we want to attend. That is why it was great to view your vidoe journal.

concerning ZestFest, I emailed them at the email address on their website a while back and asked for the date – they replied back that ZestFest 2010 would be September 10-12 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, TX
