REVIEW- Gunther Gourmet’s Salsas
This is the second part of salsa reviews for Gunther’s Gourmet. This will be slightly different than the last review. All three reviews have the Jalapeno Salsa Fresca, but they also have a unique salsa that the other reviewers do not have. Danny Cash has the black and white bean salsa, Wendy has the Spicy Pineapple Ginger salsa, and Mike and Josh the Hot Sauce Guru and Hot Sauce Virgin, have the Tomatillo Salsa Verde.

Wow 😐
Ginger’s okay, but I was more a “Maryanne” guy myself…
Thanks for taking the time to review our products. As I have stated, Gunther’s does not make the hottest product around, we concentrate on subtle flavors and not one flavor (ie cumin or cilantro) that dominates the product. While I respect the opinions of the reviewers I must defend our line. Mild does not equal flavorless. Each product has won several awards in several contests, including Scovies, THPA’s and Golden Chilies. I do not think we could have accomplished this with flavorless products. Please take the time to try the products you see reviewed (all products, not just Gunther’s) and make your own decisions. Thanks and we will see you on the circuit.
Michael,
The thing about every review, it is subjective. Your salsa, much like your company name is gourmet, and maybe not at it’s best served on a chip. People have their preconceived notions on how salsa should taste and it is hard to come to the table with a “unique” style that is not the norm. Sorry our review team did not favor your products, but this should not stop people from coming to shows and taste it for themselves.
