REVIEW- Cajun Heat’s Mercy Beaucoup

Cajun Heat has come out with a different style of wing sauce with a Cajun twist. Our review team consists of G, Firehead Thomas, and yours truly. We also had some help while we were at Gunther’s Gourmet Wing Experiment. We had a bunch of people try the wing sauce and we share you their thoughts as well. Thomas and myself were there with our own play by play.

I never did finish the bottle. It’s still in my fridge.

Me too. It goes with the Danny Cash Jolokia Fallen Angel. The DC one I believe was the jolokia flavor that I did not like much like the strong black pepper presence in this one.

I have a shaker bottle of Cajun spice and it is really salty to me. I wonder if I would like any cajun sauces better than the powder.

I just ordered a bottle of this wing sauce today. I’m really getting into Cajun food and would like to try more. Buddah, what’s your favorite Cajun sauce? Thanks.

Well depends if you are talking Cajun or Louisiana hot sauce. Cajun Heat’s Liquid Napalm has great flavor and tremendous kick. As for Louisiana hot sauce, I grew up on Trappey’s Red Devil. You can find that one in most supermarkets across the country. I used to eat it on white rice, pouring most or all of the bottle over the rice.

Thanks. I actually have a bottle of Trappey’s that I haven’t opened yet. I didn’t know it was cajun. I’ll give it a try. Maybe I’ll order the Liquid Napalm after I get the Mercy Beaucoup.
