Firehead Thomas Reviews HBD TRIN SCORP GRILL SAUCE

HBD is Heartbreaking Dawns, and after I got them a few trinidad scorpion peppers to play with at Bowers, they sent Thomas a little birthday surprise. This sauce was the surprise. The trinidad scorpions, if you have not been watching the trinidad scorpion videos posted over the last month, are one of the most painful peppers in the world. Maybe even more painful than the ghost pepper. Most people do not handle the heat well. So, what did Johnny of HBD come up with and how will Firehead Thomas handle this type of burn? Let’s take a look and see…

The ingredients are: HBD Mango Habanero Hot Sauce, Liquid Butter, Cider Vinegar, Trinidad Scorpions, Bhut Jolokia, Dehydrated Cream. Thanks to buddah for picking the peppers and TG for the review, Buddah, we went back two weeks later and cleaned them out of scorpions, they are now a mash waiting for something? I think stocking up on scorpions right now is a good idea no matter what we do with them.

I wish I had more of this sauce, so I didn’t have to worry about saving it!!

Well TG, The bad news is I only made those 5 “bottles” for you’re enjoyment, BUT the good news is I sealed up the remaining sauce in 16 oz jars. I do have a few of them. See how the flavor develops over time, appearance… all the good stuff. I think I might also work on another small batch with a little more trinidad content. Lose the Bhut’s and up the scorp, see if that brings out that flavor more and also ball kick it up a bit!

That would be great..I’d look forward to seeing what the others think of it too! I may include it during the next Ravens tailgate on 10/24. We play Buffalo, and I’m thinking about filming a wing sauce challenge with my crew….

Sweet, I see those pics and it makes me want to take up tailgating. Would that be too akward if I just went to East Rutherford on free days for the sole purpose of tailgating. I’d have to come up with a specially designed 100% neutral jersey. Let me know what your ideas are for the wing challenge, i just got some nice jars of assorted purees of intense heat if you need to “doctor” the sauce up a bit, let me know.
