Feast Your Eyes on This- Final Contestant Videos

This is the final round of the Feast Your Eyes on This Spicy Cooking Challenge. We are down to Clement of Cajun Heat and Johnny of Heartbreaking Dawns. Johnny has won 4 of the 6 challenges and Clement the other 2, including the only challenge these two were head to head. It is as close as it comes, and the videos will prove tough for our judges.

The challenge for this round was simple. Make 3 dishes, 1 pork, 1 chicken, and 1 beef. I gave them a few ingredients that they couldn’t use that I personally detested- coffee, licorice, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and liverwurst. They had to use ingredients that can be found at your average supermarket. Nothing hard to get. They could make anything they wanted, and had 20 minutes to do it in.

A big thanks to all of our sponsors for supporting us and these spicy cooks. The prizes to the overall winner are free booths and demos at both Jungle Jim’s Weekend of Fire Show and NOLA Hot Sauce & Gourmet Foods Show. Plus second place will get $100 from Jim Duffy of Refining Fire Chiles and another $50 from Tracy Carter of JACS Tailgaters. So there is a lot at stake, but nice money as consolation to the runner-up.
Debby Hartinger from our sponsor Jungle Jim’s International Market and their Weekend of Fire Show in Oct 1-2, 2011
Tracy Carter from JACS Tailgaters representing our other sponsor, the NOLA Hot Sauce & Gourmet Foods Show
CaJohn Hard from CaJohn’s Fiery Foods
Firehead Thomas Gately our very own Chilehead Expert Reviewer and sponsor for this round
Jim Duffy from www.superhotchiles.com, Sponsor and all around chile pepper seed expert

Guys, thanks for being great sports all the way through. Of course, you won, so we didn’t get a chance to see you be poor sports. I appreciated your sense of humor, your cooking stylings and your personalities that made this contest special. I hope everyone that watched, voted and participated in any way, enjoyed it as much as I did. Thanks guys! You are both winners in my book. :winner: :winner:

I hear you on the “cool down” . 3 months…wow!!, it kind of flew by in a strange way. It’s weird that it’s over, I was getting used to the “ok every other week we do the video and get it in…etc” Good times!
