REVIEW: Dragonfire’s Pineapple Habanero Hot Sauce

Yet, another Gunther’s Gourmet review. Dragonfire’s Rick and Maria were all smiles at their newest creation, and so was I once I tried it. I love me pineapple hot sauce, so another good one in the market makes me dance the happy pineapple dance. You really do not want to see the dance though. It ain’t pretty. We got Nick Lampros of Gunther’s Gourmet to assist with this review. I want to add though that I really enjoyed this product, and I think it is worth the price of trying, and if you wish to dance as well, so be it.

Do please check out the new Dragonfire website. Such a cool design. If you are at Peppers at the Beach, then look for them. It is your chance to taste this product yourself.

We’re so glad that everyone seems to be really enjoying the sauce! Unfortunately our trip to Peppers has currently been cancelled due to an unfortunate illness!! :0( We’ll see how Rick is feeling later on tomorrow and we’ll decide then if it’s ok to make the trip up either Saturday or Sunday!! Thanks again!!!

Nick and I opened this sauce (and thier Dragonfire Medium Hot Sauce)over Mother’s Day weekend while I was in Roanoke. I loved it, it was right up my alley with that sweet/hot flavor that I enjoy. Was not over the top with heat. It enhanced the food with flavor and heat while not overwhelming it. Plus, Nick’s 3 year old son gave it a thumbs up, he also liked the medium. Both quality sauces. Thanks for making the trip to our Gala and sharing your line – we hope to see you all soon.

:welcome: Jamie. Nice blog you got there. If you ever do any videos I would love to cross promote with some UK/Europe sites. As for that dragonslayer sauce, it is the first product I have seen with prunes in the ingredient list. Plus it has blueberries too. Interesting hot sauce that Chilli Pepper Pete is.
