I would not say it’s a waste to Vic. It’s his hobby and he enjoys it. He eats plenty of sauce himself as well. I know I see it and would use my money for something else. But I am not Vic and Vic is not me. Like Vic said he could be involved in worse things :hungry:

Phil, I hear ya on that. I have never understood buying sauce and not eating it. It’s like buying a sweet car and never driving it.

That being said, I am TOTALLY impressed and would pay admission to see this room. Seriously guys, WELL DONE!!

Wow! I don’t even know what to say. I’d love to go in there and start opening bottles though!

Well first off, thanks Al for sharing the link, we had a blast shooting that. I tried to light the TV folks up with some sauce, but they were scared and would not try any.

#2 – No admission necessary… I would love to give any of you the Grand Tour. Derrick drop me an email if you ever get close to my end of town full VIP tour with some taste testing on me!!

#3 – Phil, it’s my thing, lol. I love hot sauce and polish off my share trust me. I probably have between 60 – 70 bottles in my cupboard, I’m currently using 23 different hot sauces from the fridge, I have close to 20 more enroute/in the mail coming, and I carry dry or powdered chili pepper with me everywhere I go. Right now I am using some powdered smoked Jolokia and CaJohns 100% ground Ghost Pepper.

I keep my collection bottles unopened and factory sealed as a tribute to the makers and the producers, it the truest form of a compliment in my eyes. it’s like a museum to their hard work and dedication. So when I am shopping for or find sauces that sound interesting, I buy two… One to eat and one to display. I hope that helps you understand my angle and philosophy on it.

I can totally relate to Vic. I have around 1500-1700 bottles myself…I love the collecting aspect of it, I just wish I had the space to display it like that….maybe someday. I also use them as well as collect (but you don’t open the rare ones and you certainly don’t want to eat most of those extracts) The colors are awesome in this room!

I understand you. That is cool as shit, i think i would do the same thing . That is a lot of money right there 🙂 . I just dont have the time and money to keep bottles not open 🙂 I used to collect baseball cards 🙂 . I carry those small bottles of hot sauce where ever i go . My friends make fun of me but half of them ask me if they can use it 🙂 .

Why not just eat the sauce, then wash the bottles and keep them on a shelf? I used to do that with those different little minature booze bottles back in the day. They looked really pretty on the shelf.
