REVIEW: HoneyBlaze Wing Sauce

A wing sauce with a sting and a zing. Sweet and spicy. A lot of people love that kind of sauce. Sometimes though, the spice or the sweetness is off a tad. Sometimes too strong, and other times, not strong enough. Can this HoneyBlaze walk the delicate balance of sweet and heat? Our review team is up for the challenge. We have newcomer Fiber Joe ready to step into the forum with his first review. Then we have veteran reviewers, Xero and Firehead Thomas to round off the review.

As it says on the label, this recipe was perfected by it’s two inventors. Let me introduce these two inventors/craftsman, Miller Townsend and Doug Heffner, whom hail from Tampa Bay, Florida. Like most people Miller and Doug are trying to capture their American Dream by creating something that will also capture the hearts and tummies of all the people they can influence along the way. Let us see if they can please their review team.

I would also like to try the hot if they have one. I used the rest of the sauce to make more wings with my normal recipe and they were damn good. I did have to add a little heat though.

    Hey Chileheads,

Thank You to Buddah and the review team for all your hard work, we appreciate the honest feedback.

Xero, We do produce a HOT, but only in gallon jugs for bars and restaurants. I will get some together in some smaller bottles and send it out.

You guys did a great review, so much so that I know before the year is out I will be adding this to my X-Mas(Hannukkah) list of products to try. If I didn’t have a full cupboard and heading to Nawlins this weekend, I would get some now.

OK, so I used to get HoneyBlazed from a guy named Doug Heffner in Tampa. He said he was associated with the company, however I really pissed at him right now because he changed jobs and WONT return my phone call AND IM OUT OF HONEYBLAZED!!! Where can I get some? Tell Doug, no more BBQ Sauce for him until I hear from him!! LOL
