Buddah’s Hot Sauce Collection

Derrick Wood asked me if I could show him what hot sauce I have in my house. Well I have way too much for a simple picture. My kitchen cabinets were so full I had to reinforce them to make sure they did not collapse. So it was a good time to show off what I have or at least a sense of how much. My count of unopened and opened bottles is around 300 and counting. The original intent was to install cabinets that would slide out so I can easily get at the different hot sauces. Once the handyman I hired took a look at the empty cabinets he realized they were not built that way, and could not simply build it without replacing what I had. Since I was not made of money, I just went with the reinforcement of the whole structure and shelves.

I did make mention in the video of a particular sauce collectible that I bought to help raise money for Autism Speaks via www.TheHotZoneOnline.com for their Epidemic Proportions collectible that CaJohn Hard & Jim Campbell made for them. If people are willing to bid on the sauce, I will ship for free. Lets start the bidding at $50, and we will give everyone until Sunday July 1st to raise that total up more. This is on behalf of my friends Joe & Linda Levinson’s and their boy Ari who was diagnosed with Autism at 3 years old. I am guessing Ari is 10 or 11 now.

So here is a look at my condiment cabinets.

I have an addiction to buy. The reviews prevent me from enjoyable the ones I buy. I fall behind, then I forget about them, and then I go to another show or store and buy something else to try.

Nice collection! I Like BTH up front! Looks like you need some cayenne. Just let me know my friend.

Hey Ed, I just posted about my dinner on the FB Chileheads page using you Habanero Ancho Chili sauce. Nice timing. The cayenne sauce gone within the week after it arrived. I was going to get some more at the Peppers show but you left a day too early. I will hold out to the Bowers show, and work on the other sauces in the meantime. It is not often I get to play with “my” sauces because I am always on a review.

Ed, you so do not have to do that. As much as I appreciate it, I have so little room for anymore. I have stuff on the counter and my review table looking for a home. I just got 8 sauces from Puerto Rico to review, and still working to finish up 3 from the UK.
