Many of you know Big Dawg Salsa, but how many of you have ever tried their Fire & Rescue Jalapeno Hot Sauce? While there isn’t much of a fire nor will your taste buds need any form of rescue, it is one of the best tasting jalapeno hot sauces I have ever tried. If you are fan of cilantro and jalapenos, then you have a must have hot sauce. This is also a great starter hot sauce for those at the beginning stages of chileheadhood. I also substitute the need for jalapenos in both my salsa and Buddahmole recipes with this product. It will give you a wonderful zip to any recipe. I have a few go to jalapeno hot sauces, but this is at the very top of the list.

We are bringing back one of the great hot sauces ever to be conjured up in this community. Brian Moon, once a well loved member of this computer fell out of sight and in doing so perhaps fell out of mind. In a recent shopping spree at Peppers, I came across a old bottle of Loco Luna’s Lava Gourmet Hot Sauce and couldn’t help wonder two things. Firstly, how old was it, and secondly was still good? During a review for the product above, I referred to it as “Garlic Candy”. It wasn’t candy in any shape or form, but it sure was addicting like candy. Pickled, spicy, garlic buds that you can eat right of the jar without leaving that garlic breath behind in your mouth. This spicy product is called Red Lion Spicy Foods – 20 Pepper Garlic Hot. If you try one right out of the jar, you most certainly feel that need to come back for more of this garlic paradise.
